Clipper Ship City of Adelaide

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Clipper Ship City of Adelaide is a historic 1864 sailing ship. Daily guided tours provide visitors with a unique experience to explore inside the ship. The tours are suitable for all ages, including families.
As a former passenger vessel from 1864 to 1887, the social history of passengers and crew forms part of the display inside the ship and in the Information Centre.

The ship is the oldest surviving vessel of its kind, and is five years older than the UK’s famous Cutty Sark.

Please speak to them about guided tours during opening hours. Entry to the ship is via stairs.

They are part of the Museums of the Port, together with Maritime, Aviation and Rail Museums.
