This is their backyard, so let them share with you the secrets and wonders of the creeks and lagoons behind the river. No experience is necessary, and you will find our kayaks are roomy and stable.
Sunset Kayak Tours are our most popular nature experience. Run daily, these tours impress with big skies, changing colours and wonderful bird-life. Enjoy their commentary on the environment and history that defines the Renmark wetlands.
Their unique Moonlight Tours are a total sensation. They set out in the sunset and glide home through creeks with the full moon lighting our way.

As the sunset glows and fades, we glide through Wetland creeks under the sensational moonlight. With the extraordinary sensation of gliding on water amid rustling reeds, plopping fish and chirping frogs, this tour must be on everyone’s bucket list!
No experience is required and we provide all the equipment you need to enjoy this spectacular tour. Bring stretchy clothing that covers your arms and legs. Sunscreen, a drink bottle and bug spray should be considered for summer and a jacket and gloves for winter.
Times are adjusted to suit the moonrise timetable but generally start around sunset.

The Sunset Kayak Tour is our most popular tour and a great family experience. We gently meander through pristine River Murray backwaters not far from Renmark. Enjoy the big skies, changing colours and the rich variety of bird life of the local wetlands. Your guide Jim or Ruth will interpret the history and environment along the journey.

Allow 1.5 hours for your Guided Tour in the “most beautiful part of the river” above Renmark. Kangaroos, emus, goannas and waterbirds will watch as you motor gently through their natural environment.
The dinghy has a biminy (shade cover) and padded swivel seats.

A truly rare opportunity to discover and reimagine the historic site of Woolenook Wood Camp on the Murray River above Renmark. The famous Loveday Internment Camp provided internees to the woodcutting camps.
Your guide drives you upriver in a motorboat and conducts a guided walking tour where Japanese Internees camped in a barbed-wire compound and felled gumtrees for the WWII war effort.
Leaving by motorboat from the convenient waterfront property, you will travel upriver through stunning scenery to the site of a woodcutters camp worked by Japanese internees during WWII.
On arrival, you will disembark and commence a guided tour of the site, evoking the hardships and small joys of yesteryear.
Then, return back to base taking morning tea in the boat, motoring through world-recognised wetlands that features over 100 species of birds, emus that swim across the river, kangaroos and the occasional goanna or koala. A photographer’s delight!
This is a boutique tour for 2-4 people.
