Ten Miles East is an artisanal winery, vineyard and cellar door located a short 20 minute drive from the Adelaide CBD in Norton Summit, Adelaide Hills and provides cellar door tastings as well as food event options. Our normal cellar door trading hours are Saturday and Sunday from 12noon to 5pm throughout the year.
Ten Miles East focuses on growing small quantities of exceptional quality grapes on the 9 acre estate and concentrate on growing grape varieties that are suited to their estate’s particular microclimate and soil, producing small-batch, hand-made wines of exceptional quality. Their wines are made gently, without rushing – using wild yeast ferments and steering away from mountains of additives. They then allow their wines to collect themselves with time on lees and, when suitable, extended skin contact.
Walk-ins are welcome and cellar door bookings are available through the Ten Miles East website. Ten Miles East wines are grown, made and sold at the vineyard – so come and visit us, let Chris run you through a structured tasting or simply enjoy a glass of wine in our beautiful gardens, where there is plenty of local wildlife to keep you company.

Services
Ten Miles East holds regular food collaborations with local chefs serving lunch from 12.30pm to 4pm on the Saturday and Sunday. A wonderfully relaxed, family-friendly, high-quality food and wine experience.

An enlightening degustation experience available for private bookings for 1 exclusive group of 10 to 15 people at a time!
This is an intimate presentation tasting the full range of Ten Miles East wines in concert with food dishes specifically created to highlight each wine.
Wine and food pairing is an art and can be a sublime experience. From one vintage to the next a wine is the ultimate expression of the vintage conditions, the vineyard site and viticulture alongside winemaking all coming together to represent its distinctly individual characteristics.
The Ten Miles East degustation experience explores these layers of flavours, textures, and complexities in order to challenge the limitations of the often held, one dimensional approach around wine with food.
The menu has been developed by acclaimed chef Mark McNamara and wine authority Chris Eerden, long-term advocates within both the wine industry and the hospitality industry, with a view to offering the best representation of food matched to wine. In this setting, their combined vast experience and extensive knowledge provides a rare opportunity for patrons to appreciate a truly enlightening tasting experience.
