John Crompton Reserve

National Parks and Reserves

This peaceful green haven is a bit of a local secret. Set beside the water of Encounter Lakes. It is the perfect place for all the family. In amongst shady trees, you will find a picnic table near the playground. There is a beach leading into the lake, where catch and release fishing is allowed. There are toilets and an outside shower, with plenty of parking space.

If you are lucky, you may see the local Dragon Boat Racers practicing. Bring your own paddle board or kayaks, of course you can hire gear from local companies if needed or book a lesson and try something new.

Find a shady place on the grass, bring a book, and unwind.
