Mills Gully Lookout
Things To Do Stansbury, Yorke Peninsula, South Australia
National Parks and Reserves
Situated on the Adelaide Road entrance to Stansbury, this area was originally the town rubbish tip until the 1960’s. This area was redeveloped on behalf of the Stansbury Progress Association by the Green Corps group in 2001.
The project incorporated the removal of feral Aleppo Pines allowing for regeneration of the coastal native shrubs. Today Stansbury Tidy Towns maintain the area for the enjoyment of the visitors to Stansbury.
From this cliff top there is a magnificent view of Oyster Bay, Gulf St Vincent, the Stansbury Jetty and Township.
A picnic setting amongst the natural bushland completes this small reserve.
