The 2024 English Ale

The English Ale is a unique, family-friendly seasonal gathering that takes place in the picturesque Adelaide Hills region of South Australia in the town of Mylor every May.

It is an autumnal gathering celebrating the village customs and ritual traditions from England that occur within the seasonal wheel of the year. The event acknowledges the end of the hot dry summer, the end of the fire season and moving into the greener time of the year. The first of the winter rains has arrived and the land comes to life again. Jack-in-the-Green has returned.
