Penola Arts Festival

Artists April Hague and Jane Van Eeten, facilitators of the long established “Life Drawing Mount Gambier” group present a unique afternoon of casual drawing and fun. Two of Mount Gambier’s most renowned drag queens will model in their incredible costumes for a series of short and long poses to allow you to draw to your hearts content. All levels of ability are welcome in this relaxed session and drawing materials are supplied (although you can also bring along any that you prefer). Be entertained and creatively stimulated whilst enjoying a glass of Wynns Coonawarra Estate’s best, and delicious nibbles to keep you going.

April and Jane have a combined 75 years of experience as secondary art teachers and practitioners, and established their Life Drawing group back in 2015. They now present these sessions on a monthly basis at the Riddoch Arts and Cultural Centre, and by appointment with other venues around South Australia.
