Elysian Springs

Elysian Springs is a 160 acre estate located in the pristine Adelaide Hills wine region. It is the birthplace of the River Torrens and the most northern vineyard of the Adelaide Hills Wine region.

The property started its journey when established by the Seppelt family back in 1984 when it was planted to Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.

Today, the guidance continues where we endeavour to use minimalistic viticultural practices, engage biodynamic/organic/alternative practices to support the vines and grounds to express the vineyard.

This beautiful valley we are in and the quiet magic that it offers engages our souls and inspires us to produce wines that best represent the vineyard and us. The Elysian Fields was, in classical mythology, the setting for heaven, we believe the natural spring and the water it provides to our vineyard is what makes our wine at Elysian Springs a little closer to heaven.

We don’t make wines we wont drink ourselves.

Cellar door welcomes visitors from Wednesday through to Sunday for tastings of their award winning, single vineyard estate wines. Create your own platter or picnic from their selection of local artisan produce and soak up the hills views over a glass or two of wine.
