Wattle Bank Farm
Where To Stay Wattle Bank, Bass Coast, Victoria
‘Seahorse’ is located on the idyllic Wattle Bank Farm in Gippsland – a small sustainable farm growing oyster mushrooms and running Natural Horsemanship experiences. Only eight minutes to the glorious Inverloch beaches and wonderful wildlife walks in the Wonthaggi Heathlands, the once 1970’s 10-metre long caravan has been repurposed into a warm cozy cabin to provide an ideal getaway for a couple or small family complete with a queen bed, bathroom, and fully equipped kitchen and three Japanese style bunk beds.
For horse lovers, look no further, you can pop over in the paddocks and hang with the team’s 10 horses or book for a Natural Horsemanship experience or trail ride whilst staying with us. The farm caters for adults and children. They also offer respite stays or short term accomodation which can be NDIS supported. You can help yourself to the seasonal veggie patch or shop at the farm gate for fresh mushrooms, wine, breakfast items or organise a hamper of local goodies. They have a minimum stay of two nights- it is the perfect off-grid retreat to restore and unplug.
You are surrounded by some of Victoria’s best produce, hikes and jaw-dropping sunsets. They curate an itinerary or suggest recommendations during your stay including workshops which may be running at the farm.
They are also pet friendly.
