Grampians Pioneer Cottages is a natural country retreat where you stay in self-contained accommodation uniquely built from Australian and New Zealand reclaimed timbers, stone, mudbrick, corrugated iron and 100 year old redbricks.
Choose from the Redgum Log, Redbrick, Mudbrick or Stone Cottages, each with their own unique character. And reconnect with life’s simple pleasures, exquisite sunrises, glorious sunsets and some well-earned downtime.

Mudbrick Cottage is a naturally earth formed structure and nestles into its natural Australian bush setting.
Upon entering, the warm and welcoming feeling prompts many guests (especially honeymooners) to just soak up the ambience, enjoy the open fire, and dream overlooking the beautiful views of expansive hills and plains.
Mudbrick Cottage features three bedrooms. Follow the timber staircase to large the master room with cathedral ceiling featuring a double bed. The second bedroom is comprised of double bed also and the third room is has four single bunk beds. The cottage has a beautiful hardwood kitchen with modern conveniences and a rustic open fireplace. There is a laundry for your added convenience and air conditioning for your comfort.

Redgum Log Cottage features two bedrooms. The master room has a double bed. the second bedroom is comprised of four single bunk beds. The cottage has a beautiful hardwood kitchen with modern conveniences and a rustic open fireplace. There is air conditioning throughout for your comfort.
This hand built cottage has arisen from many recycled and restored materials such as Redgum log slabs saved from the forestry, pine kitchen cupboards of New Zealand kauri pine found in the old St Arnaud Flour Mill and even the sunburst on the 1925 Range Hood comes from H.V.McKay, a Sunshine grain harvester.
