Situated midway between Erica and Rawson, and a short drive from Walhalla, Silvertop Cottages is a great place to relax and escape from the pressures of your working week. Silvertop Cottages offer three individual cottages nestled amongst the forest.

Set in 12 acres of private forest, these storybook cottages have been individually designed and positioned to enhance the experience and enjoyment, whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway or family holiday, you will feel as if one of these cottages has been designed just for you.

Countless walking tracks lead directly from the cottages into the surrounding State Forests. You can chose to stroll or ride along the ridge and pass through ferny gullies down towards the Mill Pond and on into Erica.

Alternatively, you can follow the rail trail through the forest towards Thomson and on to Walhalla, whatever route you decide to enjoy you can always count on being accompanied by stunning scenery. Bring the family and introduce them to some of the heritage and local history in Walhalla, Cooper’s Creek and surrounds.

The newly completed South Face Road means Mt Baw Baw is now an easy drive from Silvertop Cottages, allowing you to enjoy the excitement of downhill skiing, or some fun whilst playing in the snow. Further on, Mt St Gwinear has some stunning cross-country skiing to offer.

Loft Cottage

The Loft Cottage is the largest cottage and offers extra space to comfortably accommodate the whole family (two adults and up to three children), enjoy a break together. With separate sleeping areas, you can relax upstairs in the queen bed while the kids happily share the bunk room.

The gas log heater is conveniently warm for when you return from your walk in the forest or trip from the snow.

Spacious loft bedroom with a queen-sized bed, bunk-room downstairs for the kids, convenient gas log heater, fully equipped kitchen, games to play and movies to watch, large balcony to relax and feed the birds and Weber barbecue for outdoor cooking.

The One Bedroom Cottage really allows you to make yourself feel at home. Why not make the most of a nice lie-in while your partner organises breakfast or takes a morning stroll.

Or how about enjoying a nice soak in the spa or soaking up all the forest has to offer from the comfort of your balcony. Quite simply, you can do whatever feels right for you.

The One Bedroom Cottage features a warm gas log fire, fully equipped kitchen, spa bath, lofted ceilings and full length balcony, weber barbecue for outdoor cooking. Note – A Rollaway Single Bed can also be added for an extra Adult as an option with this Cottage.
