Princetown Recreation Reserve is located on the Great Ocean Road just over 2.5 hours from Melbourne, it is adjacent the Gellibrand River and close the Princetown Wetlands and Princetown Beach.
Being just six kilometres east of the 12 Apostles, the park is one of the closest places to camp near the Port Campbell National Park so it is the perfect base for sightseeing the highlights of the Great Ocean Road including Lock Ard Gorge, Gibson Steps and the 12 Apostles.
The Princetown Recreation Reserve offers powered and unpowered sites in a natural setting with kangaroos grazing within the reserve. Clean and basic amenities and barbeques are available at the reserve, with everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Don’t leave your furry friend at home, dogs are welcome year-round.
Fishing, hiking and canoeing are just a few of the activities that are enjoyed by people who camp at the Princetown Recreation Reserve.
When you stay, your camping fees not only go into maintaining the campground, they are also reinvested back into the magnificent Great Ocean Road coastline and will go towards maintaining a wide range of public facilities, assets and infrastructure and other coastal projects.

Powered sites are situated around the first quarter fence line of the oval. Unpowered sites cover the majority of the reserve and offer grassed, shady and open camping.
