The Cabin at Kevington

Set on the banks of the pristine Goulburn River, surrounded by state forest, the cabin is ideal for a romantic escape or an adventure filled getaway. You can choose to do a multitude of activities in the area or just relax by the river in summer, or by the cosy fire in winter.

The spacious open-plan kitchen dining and living room has cathedral ceilings, a cosy wood-fired heater and fireplace made from locally sourced slate, a huge comfy couch and large dining table. Relics from the gold-mining days adorn the walls.

Music can be played on the Bose sound system using a device such as an iPad or iPhone. There is an assortment of board-games and jigsaw puzzles and plenty of books and magazines.

Floor to ceiling windows offer a lovely view across the lawn to the river and a glass door opens onto an expansive deck complete with comfy couch. A perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or an afternoon drink and just enjoy the view whilst listening to birdsong and the soothing sounds of the river.

Bedroom three is a comfy ‘wooden tent’ which sleeps two, set down near the river which has a wall of glass at one end with river views.

Note there is no television and no mobile reception unless you are with Telstra but there is wifi.
