Dalrose Retreat is a stylish and contemporary farm retreat within a working beef farm, reinvented from the original 1800s homestead.
Dalrose Retreat offers three bedrooms set amidst 80 acres of lush irrigated farm land. The property is exclusively yours to enjoy and accommodates up to eight guests over two levels; the upstairs contains two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a lounge area and a balcony with sunset views to enjoy. Downstairs, a large master and ensuite, open plan living and kitchen enjoy expansive views of the Victorian High Country, highlighted by the original double-sided homestead chimneys still standing tall. Heated, polished concrete floors ensure warmth and comfort all year round.
A massive undercover outdoor area, with barbeque, lounge, and original chimneys will allow you to enjoy the outdoors, and the peace and quiet of farm life, no matter what mother nature has in store for you.
Take advantage of the close proximity to the charming township of Stratford, by heading East by foot or bike along the East Gippsland Rail Trail, or if you’re adventurous, head West to the larger town of Maffra.
Enjoy door-to-door service to experience the renowned Tinamba Hotel for an award winning dining experience.

You get the whole retreat to yourselves! Sleeping up to eight people, the retreat is set to allow you to stay in and enjoy the property’s peaceful ambience. You will feel like you have been transported to a far away destination, leaving the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind.
A massive alfresco area complete with two open fires (the chimneys from the original homestead), large downstairs lounge and kitchen, and an upstairs lounge with balcony give you so many options to rest and retreat. You won’t want to leave.
There are fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, bikes are also available on request to allow you to enjoy the nearby rail trail, or ride into the gorgeous nearby town of Stratford (10 minute bike ride).
