Natural Attractions

Davey’s Bay is a small shallow bay, one of several adjoining the township of Mount Eliza. This 1.5 km long section is dominated by 20 to 30 metres high bluffs, rocks and reefs, with the narrow beaches wedged in between them. The three narrow beaches backed by high bluffs are mainly used by the yacht club and fishermen.

Access is from the end of Davey’s Bay Road where public parking is available. Walk down the steps to the first small beach or continue around the cliff tops past the yacht club, and down to one of the other beaches.

Leash-free dog beach is available 7:00pm to 9:00am during daylight savings and can be accessed from end of Davey’s Bay Road. Always refer to signs at beach entry points as changes to dog restrictions may be made at any time by local authorities.
