Long Lead Picnic Area and Campground

Long lead picnic area and campground is in the Nangeela State Forest. The two-wheel drive access road is along a bumpy gravel road that leads into the relatively large picnic and camping area. This area is accessible by caravans in good weather.

The area offers nature walks and wildlife viewing including water birds, kangaroos and emus, as well as many types of wildflowers. Long Lead has a new single drop toilet, two new shelters and picnic tables alongside fire pits. However there is no access to water at this campground, please remember to bring your own.

Pets are allowed, though are required to be kept on a lead at all times as it the park is a shared space.
