Their ‘Journey’ programs lead you on multi-day stages of the GPT camping each night in supported hiker camps, not leaving the trail until the end of the stage. Fully guided and supported with fresh healthy local catering, nothing else compares.

The trail departing Halls Gap is the most iconic section of the Grampians Peaks Trail. It journeys over rugged and dramatic landscapes to visit some of the most recognised features in the national park. Venus Baths, the Grand Canyon and of course the Pinnacle – and that’s just the first day.
This overnight hike was the first section of Grampians Peaks Trail to open back in 2015 and it still holds value. It explores the Wonderland range before undertaking a fantastic skyline traverse of Mt Rosea.
You’ll spend the night camping out in a supported hiker camp, rest, enjoy a freshly cooked trail meal and sleep under a blanket of stars. No matter your level of hiking experience, Absolute Outdoors’ passionate local team will guide and support you through this short journey to explore their backyard.

The northern stage of the Grampians Peaks Trail is wild, rugged and absolutely spectacular. In this unique experience, we will explore the best parts of the northern end of Gariwerd, we will summit peaks, get splashed by waterfalls, experience 420 million years of geology and 40,000 years of human history.
While our days will be adventurous, our evenings will be spent in comfort in our exclusive, off-the-grid eco-cabin surrounded by national park. Delicious, freshly prepared meals with a focus on local produce, complete with a selection of local wines. A complete Grampians experience, without sacrificing comfort. Perfect.

The beating heart of the central Grampians is the small town of Halls Gap. This bustling little hub also happens to be the starting point of of the central stage of the GPT and in recognition of that, our journey will not only explore the mountains and trails but the culture and community that reside amongst them. This little valley is full of produce and people who are passionate about hospitality and we’ll get to meet some of the stars and experience what they have to offer
At the end of each day’s walk, we will be transferred back to our boutique private accommodation for a hot shower, a glass of local wine and to sample some local Grampians produce before heading into Halls Gap for an outstanding dining experience.
