The Shepparton Art Museum (SAM), located on Yorta Yorta Country in North Central Victoria, is one of Australia’s outstanding regional art museum. Showcasing its exhibitions and collection in new and exciting ways, SAM creates a welcoming, inclusive and engaging space for all audiences.

Established in 1936, the SAM Collection is recognised and celebrated as one of regional Australia’s most significant collections of Australian ceramics, alongside a growing collection of historic and contemporary paintings, prints and works on paper. The Museum is also highly regarded for its collection of Indigenous art. SAM is known for a dynamic program of exhibitions that are designed to be locally relevant and engage with global contemporary ideas.
