Sorrento Walks delivers a historical guided tour showcasing and educating the history of Sorrento on the Mornington Peninsula from the arrival of HMAS Calcutta, Lieut Col. David Collins and his settlement at Sullivans Bay to the founders, Duffy and Coppin and the establishment of Sorrento as a vibrant tourism destination in the mid to late 19th century to what it is today.

The tour includes visiting many landmarks including the Steam Tram, Watts Cottage, original limestone buildings, Collins settlement, Tuckey’s track and more.

Services

A three hour, 6.8km walk across the history of Sorrento, covering the first settlement at Sullivan Bay to many landmarks that were built from mid 19th century to today.
