National Alpine Museum Australia

Galleries, Museums and Collections

NAMA – the National Alpine Museum Australia – has the largest collection relating to the history and heritage of Alpine Australia in the country. It is dedicated to sharing and preserving the amazing stories of the characters, places and spirit of Australia’s Alpine communities.

A regularly changing program of exhibitions, programs and events brings the many stories of Alpine Australia to life using the museum’s diverse collection, multimedia, art and interactive elements.

Groups can be accommodated at any time with tailored programs to suit unique interests and curriculum priorities. The museum space is also available for event hire.

Located at Mount Buller, the museum is a short one minute walk from the Village Square Plaza on Level 1 of the Alpine Central Building.
