Gallery Kids

Heide Gallery Kids is a new creative and educational art observation session for pre-schoolers age 18 months to three years and carers. Join Art Therapist Tanis Douglas, who supports pre-school children and their carers to gain confidence observing artworks in a small group. Activities involve looking, listening and learning ways to explore the sculpture park and gallery space together.

Sessions involve directed sensory play, investigating colour, texture and shape. The program ends with a shared story and puppets with themes tied to Heide and song time.

Please note: Gallery Kids is suitable for toddlers from 18 months through to children age up to three years. This is not a drop-off session, and carers must be with children at all times.
