Frankston and South Eastern Wine Show 2024

Head down to the open amateur wine making competition organised by Frankston amateur Winemakers Guild, showcasing home-made wines from fruit, vegetables, flowers, herbs and red white grape wines. Competition categories to be judged include still, sparkling, fortified wines and liqueurs.

Tasting the many wines available, you may meet the winemakers and learn the techniques required to make your own wine. Wine making information is available and applications for new members are most welcome.

Sample wines made from citrus fruits, stone fruits, berries, guavas, carrots, parsnips, herbs and many other exotic ingredients. Red and white wines such as Shiraz, Cabernet, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Chardonnay and Muscat are usually well represented. They use minimal additives in the production of their wines.
