A hands-on class where you make your own sausage rolls, pasties and meat pies from pastry you have made yourself. Learn recipes and take-home tips to make rough puff, puff pastry and lard pastry.

Learn to make cornish pasties using larded pastry. Create homemade sausage rolls from scratch, including the rough puff pastry and beef filling. Make meat pies using lard and puff pastry filled with beef filling.

Pies, pasties and sausage roll cooking classes are hands-on. Together, you will make all the pastries from scratch, then bake sweet pies, pasties and sausage rolls. Your host will be there to help you along the way!

This class suits beginners and advanced cooks who wish to learn new skills and techniques. You will learn that pastry is not as hard as you think. You will learn techniques that you can use to impress everyone with your new pastry-baking skills.

Afternoon tea will be served in this pastry cooking class, including tea, coffee and homemade lemonade. Almond and soy milk are always available, along with caffeine-free hot beverages. This class is not suitable for people with gluten-free or vegan dietary requirements.
