Cosmos Made Conscious

An album launch of Paige Duggan’s new jazz release, Cosmos Made Conscious. She is joined by a stellar band of some of Australia’s finest jazz-genre-bending musicians.

Robbie Melville (guitar and effects), Zoe Frater (electric bass), Gideon Brazil (saxophones, flutes and piano), and Maddison Carter (drums and percussion) with Paige on vocals, trumpet and guitar.

This new album explores the connections between the universe and us. A musical journey through the cosmos and our minds, life and human parallels to what we discover in the universe.

Alongside the music performance, Paige has also developed art-animation-film which will be projected, a visual and auditory delight. Paired with the enveloping music, the visuals aim to engage and support an inclusive performance for people of all abilities, including our deaf and disabled community.

Cosmos Made Conscious is new body of Australian jazz music composed by Paige Duggan. It has been made possible with support from Creative Victoria’s New Music Works Grant and the Sustaining Creativity Initiative from Regional Arts Victoria.
