Rayner’s Orchard

Rayner’s Orchard currently grows over 450 varieties of fruit and is around an hour’s drive from the Melbourne city centre, located in Melbourne’s food bowl, the Yarra Valley.

Visit this real working farm to discover life on the land, delight in picking your own fruit, and discover the fantastic flavours of real tree-ripened fruit. Take a guided tractor fruit tasting tour and compare the fantastic flavours of at least eight fresh tree-ripened fruit varieties.

Tractor fruit tasting tours are available throughout the year, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, seven days a week. Blossom Tours run from mid-August to mid-September.

Join a fruit bottling workshop to learn how to bottle your own fruit the ‘old-fashioned’ way and take home the bottled fruit that you prepared and cooked yourself in their custom bottling kitchen. Workshops run daily throughout the year, by appointment.

Groups and buses welcome – tour and meal deal specials for groups of 10 or more; come and taste the freshly baked scones and farm-style pies and quiches.
