Euroa Hub Tourist & Resident Information

Visitor Information Centres

Euroa is a very picturesque town nestled at the base of the Strathbogie Ranges and looking towards the plains. It is bound by two streams – Seven Creeks and Castle Creek – which adds to its beauty and serenity. All this and only a 100 kilometres and 100 minutes from Melbourne.

Euroa and district has many attractions and activities. The town has a traditional retail centre based within a one town block which provides convenient and easy shopping. There are many early buildings built at the height of Queen Victoria’s era. All of these buildings have a grandeur and elegance that adds to the character of the town. Many of these buildings are located close to the shopping precinct and can be found in Binney Street (amongst the shops), in Kirkland Avenue, Clifton Street and Railways Street.

Do not miss a visit to the Victoria Cross Memorial Park in Kirkland Avenue, where the three VC winners are honoured. Euroa is the only town in the Commonwealth to have this many citizens awarded with this distinguished medal.

Euroa is nestled at the base of the Strathbogie Ranges; a hidden gem in North East Victoria.
