The 11 Acre
Where To Stay Kalgan, Albany, Western Australia
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
The 11 Acre forms part of Hadley Woods Farm. The farm is nestled among 112 acres of pasture, scattered Jarrah and Redgum trees with paperbarks lining the creek (deep creek) that runs through the property. Hadley was originally utilized as a sheep grazing property. In the last 15 years it has been used for cattle and most recently cattle and horses. The Jarrah Camp is for completely self-contained campers, but now boasts a fully flushing toilet! You’ll enjoy all the peace and pretty views the farm has to offer. Enjoy a stroll around the mowed pasture trails or a lunch/wine around the dam. Kick back and bird watch, there is plenty of residential birdlife. Cook up a storm on your campfire. Nearby, the Kalgan River is a short drive where you can fish or canoe/kayak. Monty’s winery is only a 10 min drive. The Albany City centre is just 25 min drive with so many spectacular things to do including some of the best beaches, hiking and wineries to indulge in.
