Kambarang is located two-and-a-half hours from Perth Central Business District in 100 acres of beautiful bushland with a self-contained eco-cabin and private camping accommodation, plus 10 kilometres of mountain bike/walk trails. Bikes are available to hire by guests for use on the property.
Surrounded by forest, the eco-cabin has a hot rainwater shower, a double bed up in the loft (wake up in the treetops) and two single beds downstairs.
The cabin operates on a small off-grid solar power system which is very simple to use. There is a gas-stove with grill and oven and a wood-heater for winter which keeps the cabin warm and cosy. There is also a stovetop to cook a delicious slow cook soup or your dinner if you feel inclined instead of using the gas stove.
They host a maximum of 10 people at any time so you are assured of an exclusive and peaceful stay. The campsite is suitable for a tent, campervan or small caravan, each with a campfire site (campground is closed December to March).
Note: Access to the loft is by ladder stair so it is not appropriate for the frail elderly, disabled or very small children. There are a couple of floor mattresses for extra children. It can accommodate up to four adults or a family of six.

Surrounded by forest, the cabin is a quiet, peaceful escape from your real world. Numerous types of small birds will entertain you while you relax with a morning cuppa on the verandah. Walk the trails to truly absorb the delights of nature. In spring the diversity of wildflowers will fascinate once you get your ‘wildflower eyes’ tuned in.
The cabin is fully self-contained, with hot rainwater shower (great for your hair and skin), double bed up in the loft (wake up in the tree tops) and two single beds downstairs, plus a couple of floor mattresses for extra children. A cosy fireplace for winter warmth can be used to heat up your dinner or produce a slow cook meal – or there is the gas stove.
April to December is absolutely beautiful away from the coast in the south west of Western Australia. Lush and green and without the strong coastal winds, it is lovely even when it is raining. Kambarang is above the frost line and some mornings you can look down on a mist in the valley below while enjoying the colours of the sunrise turning the trees to orange and gold and bouncing off the clouds above.24 Hour Reception Barbecue Blankets Children's High Chair Desk Dining Area Flat-screen TV Full Kitchen Heating Kettle Kitchenware Linen supplied Open fireplace Outdoor Dining Area Outdoor Furniture Oven Private Bathroom Refrigerator Shower Stove Top Tea/Coffee making facilities Television Toaster
