One Green Sheep

One Green Sheep is a 500-acre working farm north of Bindoon, Western Australia, with beautiful breakaways and valleys, patches of natural vegetation and old stand trees in amongst pockets of cropped land. They are just over an hour from Perth at the very north end of the Darling Range with enormous starry night skies. The site owners have a strong focus on the environment and sustainability in their everyday lifestyle and care for the land. Over the last nine years, they have planted just over 54,000 trees and shrubs, successfully establishing wildlife corridors right across the property. They now also have eight artificial nest tubes to support the Carnabys black cockatoos who return each August to breed. Their intention is to leave the land in a better state than when we first came here and we now want to share the wonderful environment with others, providing a place to get away and recharge as well as get excited about nature and all its wonders. In line with their environmental focus, they ask campers to Leave No Trace.
