
Yardie Creek Campground at Cape Range National Park

Yardie Creek is located at the southern end of the park near the popular day use area and Yardie Creek Boat Cruise. All sites are located approximately 80 metres from the beach. Yardie Creek has a wide sandy beach stretching to the North. Small boats can be launched from the Yardie Creek mouth over very soft sand.
There are good snorkelling opportunities from the shore. Swimming is popular from the sandy beach. Popular activities include the Yardie Creek boat tour, bushwalks, beach walks, canoeing, kayaking, boating, photography, wildflowers, bird and turtle watching.
Yardie Creek is located adjacent to the Osprey Marine Sanctuary Zone. Special shore-based Fishing Zone conditions apply within this section of Osprey Sanctuary Zone.
Bookings are required for camping at this site during peak season (April to October). During off-peak periods (November to March) camping sites are allocated on a first come, first served basis and bookings cannot be made.

There are 11 camp sites located at Yardie Creek. Camp site dimensions are specific. Ensure your vehicle or tent is suitable for your chosen camp site. All sites cater for only one vehicle and one caravan, camper trailer or tent.
