This is more than just a food and wine tour! Take in the cathedral of towering karri trees as you travel through lush bushland to hidden venues.

Flavour sensations are explored at Duckett’s Mill where an array of cheeses, cured meats, condiments is presented in a mouth-watery shared platter lunch. Wines are available for tasting and purchase. Traditional cider making is explained at Denmark Heritage Cider. The work of bees is savoured Bartholemews Meadery, where you’ll have dessert of ice cream. This tour is for those wanting to learn more of Albany’s role in the ANZAC story. The tour includes morning tea/coffee and scones, jam and cream. Courtesy pickup from locations within 10kms CBD.

The history of Albany and the Great Southern is revealed in stories as you start the tour at the Albany Visitor Centre and travel along Marine Drive with a view to King George Sound.

At the National ANZAC Centre the interactive displays will take you on an intimate journey of a participant of the war. Travel the Avenue of Honour, that leads to the Memorial of the Desert Mounted Corps. Padre White trod a path to this peak at dawn to remember the fallen. Take in the view that the departing ANZAC Troops had before they sailed onwards to war; for some of them, the last vision of homeland. See Breaksea Island and learn of the construction of the lighthouse and its connection to the ANZAC narrative are revealed.

Journeying into the city centre, along the way we drive past the oldest farm in Western Australia and visit one of the earliest homes in Australia at Patrick Taylor Cottage.

The Granite Skywalk Porongurups tour is for those who like the outdoors and have moderate fitness for walking and climbing. The highlights of this tour are the new Granite Skywalk and scenic drive through the Porongurups and delicious lunch at a Plantagenet Winery.

Discover the spectacular scenery and bountiful produce of the Porongurups and Mount Barker regions. Castle Rock is a 4.2-kilometre return walk that requires moderate fitness. To reach the spectacular views at the summit requires a final short scramble over granite rocks and a climb in an enclosed ladder to the Granite Skywalk. From there, your guide will show you spectacular views and entertain you with intriguing stories of the area, from the traditional Noongar owners to the European settlers. You’ll learn why the area produces award-winning wines and local produce and sample the best of both.
