Brian Lee is a Bardi Aboriginal man operating tours from Djarindjin, in Ardi country on the tip of the spectacular Dampier Peninsula, 200 kilometres from Broome. He is a true Kimberley character with a personality larger than life.
Follow Brian to Hunters Creek on a tagalong tour (your own four wheel drive vehicle is essential as you will be driving on the beach). The tour showcases the breathtaking scenery whilst giving a unique insight into the country and culture of the Saltwater people of the Dampier Peninsula. Learn traditional indigenous hunting methods before cooking up your catch on an open fire and enjoying a taste of freshly caught seafood.

Brian Lee is a Bardi Aboriginal man and this country has been home to his people for thousands of years. They are proud Saltwater people. This is a tagalong tour and your own four-wheel drive is essential. Follow Brian down to the banks of Hunter’s Creek. Learn some of the fascinating indigenous history of the region and hear stories of the colourful characters who started white settlement on the Peninsula. Taste seasonal bush fruit and hear the ancient stories of the people who once walked this timeless landscape.
Down at the creek the fun really starts. Learn traditional fishing and crabbing methods. The tour concludes under a shady tree, where you cook up your catch – Bardi style on an open fire. This tour is an excellent opportunity to learn more about the traditional Aboriginal lifestyle, while Brian shares his knowledge of country and unique Aboriginal perspective with you.
