Claremont Public Art Trail

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Claremont has a range of permanent and temporary works of art including sculptures, murals, and mosaics, which reflect and inform the community and visitors about the diverse history of the Town, its residents, and their activities. The public artwork located around the Town is either commissioned with assistance from the Town or private developers and located on Town-owned land or private property.

The public art trial is a great way to experience the Town of Claremont and all it has to offer. Along the way, you will see the tree-lined streets and heritage buildings, the breathtaking foreshore of Freshwater Bay, the unique and cosy Swanbourne Village, the bustling Town Centre, the breathtaking urban bushland and wetland of Lake Claremont, as well as a range of parks and reserves.

Offering an eclectic mix of styles and mediums from vibrant murals to large-scale sculptures the trail has something to offer everyone. From the renowned artist and illustrator Kyle Hughes Odger’s bright abstract designs to imposing and whimsical structures such as Alister Yiap’s five metre tall Infinity Tree, why not indulge in some culture and check out the trail for yourself.
