Corrigin Pioneer Museum

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Step into Western Australia’s early settler past at Corrigin Pioneer Museum, where the old pipeline pump station and display of early Australian farm machinery will transport you back in time.

The quaint country town of Corrigin is a 2.5-hour drive east of Perth and is the ideal rest stop if you’re exploring the Pathways to Wave Rock Trail, or heading to iconic Wave Rock.

Housing the history of our days gone by, a worthwhile visit whilst in Corrigin. View the collection of tools and restored farm machinery, including tractors in working order, and see the blacksmith shop, the one-room school, the shearing shed, old district photographs, clothing and other pioneer memorabilia. The Pioneer Memorial Wall at the entrance to the Museum commemorates early settlers.

Stay overnight at the motel, hotel or caravan park and explore more of the region’s treasures. Take the scenic Corrigin Wildflower Drive (September and October) to experience the flora in bloom.
