With the Bibbulmun Track and the Munda Biddi Mountain Bike Trail passing through Dwellingup, the Murray River 7 kilometers away and surrounded by Jarrah forests, its way too easy to plan an unforgettable experience.

Their self-guided tour range starts with half, full-day or overnight canoe tours. You can choose to hike and canoe if you prefer to mix it up. For mountain bikers there is a day trip and an overnighter following the Munda Biddi Trail back to Dwellingup. Don’t forget walkers – they have walkers weekends which include accommodation and transport to get you hiking the Bibbulmun Track.

Tours include canoes, mountain bikes and safety equipment along with support at the start and finish allowing you to travel at your own pace without the need to be part of a big group tour. The Trails retail outlet has a range of gear to keep you moving and the Waypoints Cafe will keep you fueled!

Dwellingup Adventures ability to provide an action packed experience is well founded. They can plan a diverse range of local activities featuring the adventurous, educational, contemplative or just plain good group fun without the need to travel great distances for a great experience.

Choose from 25 kilometres or 39 kilometres self-guided mountain bike ride along the world renowned Munda Biddi Trail.

Dwellingup Adventures provide the customer with a mountain bike, helmet, tool kit including spare tube, basic map and transport out to the start location. This tour is more suited to the moderately fit and some mountain bike experience is required.

An overnight riding tour for the moderately fit with some mountain bike riding experience necessary.

Spend two days on the Munda Biddi Trail enjoying the world-renowned trail and the mighty Jarrah forest that it traverses through. Experience an overnight camp in one of the huts that the trail has to offer.

A total of 72.5 kilometres will be covered as the customer makes their way back to Dwellingup on Day 2.

This tour is available all year however from November to April the Murray River’s at its placid best, ideal for novices and families. Park your vehicle and they’ll transport you and your canoe up river to Island Pool for the half day (6 kilometres) or Yarragil (10 kilometres) for the full day tour.

Spend the rest of the day picnicking, paddling and swimming as you meander downstream through the beautiful Murray River Valley to your vehicle. They will collect your canoe at the finish.

The fun way to experience rapids suitable for all the family from Yarragil to Bobs Crossing – a distance of 6 kilometres.

The self guided tour allows you to explore a section of the Murray River in the stable two person rafts. The rapids are suitable for those with a little experience of paddle craft with two small Grade 1 rapids and the Grade 2 rapid at Island Pool.

The Murray River is dependent on natural rainfall patterns. All tours depends on suitable river conditions. Dwellingup Adventures reserve the right to cancel trips due to river conditions.

The above tour is self guided – no guides accompany you.

Suitable for the novice walker and canoeist this trip is available all year with the cooler months being the most popular. Leave your vehicle in Dwellingup and walk the 13 kilometres to Swamp Oak Hut along the Bibbulmun Track.

They will meet you at Island Pool with a canoe the next morning. They’ll then transport your backpack to town as you swap to canoe mode and paddle the 6 kilometres to Baden Powel Water Spout.

They collect your canoe party and canoe returning you to Dwellingup.

More suitable for those with a little canoe experience this trip is available June to November or at suitable river levels. Leave your vehicle in Dwellingup and they’ll transport you and your canoe upstream.

You will spend the next day and a half meandering downstream 22 kilometres through the beautiful Murray River Valley choosing an overnight campsite along the way.

On the following day, they will collect your canoe party and canoe from Baden Powell Water Spout (Dwaarlindjirraap) returning you to Dwellingup.

A weekend getaway for those looking to ‘lose themselves a little’. 23 kilometres hiking over two days on the Bibbulmun Track with two nights accommodation in Dwellingup Holiday House.

You will be dropped off each morning to a different spot on the Bibbulmun Track to hike back to Dwellingup at your own pace and comfort, 13 kilometres on Day 1 and 10 kilometres on Day 2. Enjoy relaxed comfort at night and a voucher for Waypoints Cafe.
