With the Bibbulmun Track and the Munda Biddi Mountain Bike Trail passing through Dwellingup, the Murray River only 7 kilometers away and surrounded by Jarrah forests, it’s way too easy to plan an unforgettable experience.
Their self-guided tour range starts with relaxing, self-paced, take-it-all-in canoe or canoe and hike tours up to adrenaline-pumping, fast water rafting tours. For those that prefer dry land, there is a mountain bike day trip following the Munda Biddi Trail back to Dwellingup. Don’t forget walkers – they have Walkers Weekends which include accommodation and transport to get you hiking the Bibbulmun Track!
Tours include canoes or mountain bikes and safety equipment along with support at the start and finish allowing you to travel at your own pace without the need to be part of a big group tour. The Trails Shop has a range of gear to keep you moving and the Waypoints Cafe will keep you fuelled!

Services
From $70 to $140
Spend the day riding a section of the world-renowned Munda Biddi Trail, translating to ‘path through the forest’ in the Indigenous Noongar language. After getting fitted out with a mountain bike and helmet, Dwellingup Adventures transport your group and bikes to the beginning of the journey. Spend the rest of the day riding through the majestic Jarrah forest along single track and fire trails, with a bridge leading you across the mighty Murray River, giving you impressive views of Baden Powell Water Spout. Journey finishes at Dwellingup townsite, where there is plenty more to explore! Choose from 17 kilometres (Nanga Mill to Town) or 35 kilometres (Dawn Creek road to Town via Bidjar Ngoulin Hut).

Explore the tranquility and beauty of the Murray River on a self-guided Paddle ‘n’ Picnic tour. Meander down the Murray River at your own pace, which features long pools, fast-moving channels and a couple of small rapids along its forest-lined riverbanks. No need to worry about any logistics as Dwellingup Adventures do all the organizing for you.
Meet at the Tours Desk, located at the award-winning Dwellingup Trails and Visitors Centre with the lovely Waypoints Café. From here you will get fitted out with your safety equipment and head to the start of the canoe experience at Island Pool, following the guide in your own vehicle. Leave your vehicle at the finish point and let Dwellingup Adventures transport you to the start, stopping along the way to point out river features. Take your time paddling downstream stopping along the way for a picnic, flora and fauna spotting and a relaxing swim (depending on season) before paddling to the finish point at Dwaarlindjirraap (Baden Powell) where you rendezvous with Dwellingup Adventures and your car.

Experience the thrills of the Murray River on a self-guided Fast Water Rafting tour. No need to worry about any logistics as Dwellingup Adventures do all the organizing for you! Meet at the Tours Desk, located at the award-winning Dwellingup Trails and Visitors Centre with the lovely Waypoints Café.
From here you will get fitted out with your safety equipment and head to the start of the rafting experience, following a guide in your own vehicle. Leave your vehicle at the finish point and let Dwellingup Adventures transport you to the start, stopping along the way to point out river features. You spend the next few hours shooting some small rapids, paddling through fast-moving channels and along wide pools at your own pace. The lightness of your inflated raft allows you to easily carry your raft back above some of the rapids where you can shoot them multiple times before paddling to the finish point at Bobs Crossing, where you rendezvous with Dwellingup Adventures and your car

This overnight tour is popular for those who love to get immersed in nature! Spend Day 1 hiking 13km from Dwellingup to Swamp Oak Hut, breathing in the fresh forest air. Spend the evening toasting marshmallows over a campfire (season dependent), snuggled up in a sleeping bag under the incredible stars of the dark sky.
A short walk on Day 2 takes you to Island Pool on the Murray River, where Dwellingup Adventures meet you to swap over your hiking gear with the supplied paddling equipment. Spend the next few hours meandering downstream through long pools, fast-moving channels, and a couple of small rapids along the forest-lined riverbanks. Dwellingup Adventures rendezvous with you at Dwaarlindjirraap and transfer you to town where your car is waiting.
