Aunty Joan’s Dolly Mix

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Step into a wonderland of dolls that look like they might come to life.

It’s like walking backstage into an opulent dressing room, “a cornucopia of swagged satin and velvet”.

The museum is the passion of the late Aunty Joan (Duncan) Stewart, who started collecting dolls later in life. It was Joan’s wish to donate the dolls to the Esperance community to make a permanent doll museum.

If you need an escape and want to feel like Alice in Wonderland visit Aunty Joan’s Dolly Mix. You can even organise a high tea by prior appointment.
