Little Ferry Company
Things To Do Perth, Perth, Western Australia
The Little Ferry Company provides an absolutely unique opportunity to experience the city in a very personalised manner. Their whisper-quiet solar electric ferries cruise along the Swan River in incomparable comfort. The skipper provides a live commentary highlighting places of interest and historical background.
They’re on the water every day offering a regular ferry service between the city (Elizabeth Quay) and Optus Stadium in East Perth as well as dedicated tours of the Swan River. It’s a showcase of not only European and Indigenous history but an insight into some of our burgeoning riverside developments ; On The Point, Waterbank, Crown Casino and Crown Towers, Matagarup Bridge and Optus Stadium.
These Edwardian-designed little boats carry only 11 passengers. You’ll cruise along with no pollution of air, water or sound. All you have to do is sit back, relax and simply enjoy.
Services
They depart Elizabeth Quay for a leisurely one hour cruise upriver visiting Barrack Street Jetty, On The Point, under the Matagarup Bridge and disembarking at Optus Stadium. The Skipper takes you up to the stadium entrance to meet with your tour guide – a stunning one-and-a-half walk around the stadium exploring the inner sanctum of the complex. Bring your camera, the views are magnificent.
They return to pick you up after your tour and return to Elizabeth Quay via Claisebrook Cove, a lovely little Mediterranean enclave of shops and cafes. Back at Elizabeth Quay four hours after your departure.
