Wandering Wok Tours was established in 2001 to showcase the exciting area of Northbridge in Western Australia, in particular the area unofficially known as Chinatown.

Wandering Wok Tours continues to celebrate the influence of various immigrants to this country through their culture, history and cuisine. Guests on their walking tours are brought into the various retail outlets and grocers to discover the wide range of products available and to enjoy many delightful tastings.

Tours are run in small, personal groups with the original owner and experienced guide, Pauline.

The original and best tour of Chinatown, fully escorted by The Queen of Northbridge! Pauline started this tour in 2001 and she is still passionate about “her baby”. The Chinatown Discovery Tour introduces you to all types of Asian food, from the freshest Asian greens to the very exotic dried scallops.

Step into the shops and discover what you can’t see from the street as they explore the amazing variety of Asian products right on Perth’s doorstep.

The tour is easy walking and there are tastings along the way. Learn where to buy the best of Asian ingredients and what to do with them. Lunch is included in the price.
