On The Verandah holidays are designed with artists and other creatives in mind. As the only provider of residential workshops in the Kimberley since 2013, they have a very good handle on what it is that creative and arty folks are looking for in a holiday.
On The Verandah itineraries are a unique combination of creative workshops and adventure experiences. Much effort goes into taking guests to places off the tourist trail and delighting them with unspoilt or undiscovered landscapes. Guests can experience life on a remote cattle station or stay in an Aboriginal community, all the while making new art, new friends and memories to last a lifetime.
On The Verandah schedules only a handful of experiences each year with small groups of a maximum of 12 guests. They enjoy a reputation for delivering an authentic slice of life in the Kimberley (and Tasmania and Albany WA) with safety, and customer service in front of mind and welcome satisfied guests back year after year.

Are you ready for the creative adventure of a lifetime? This painting holiday to remember is rich with bespoke experiences, insider access, an expert tutor and experienced guides. Beginners through to advanced artists are invited to join this seven-day (six-night) watercolour painting itinerary staying six nights on a working Kimberley cattle station.
On The Verandah is a small, family-run, accredited Western Australia tourism business specialising in Kimberley art workshops since 2013. When you join an On The Verandah trip you can leave the meal prep, organising and driving to them! Simply paint, learn and enjoy the food and conversation!
Jude Scott is a professional watercolour artist and painting teacher from Perth, Western Australia. Jude has specialised in watercolour for over 20 years and her works hang in private and public collections in Australia, Italy, Japan and China. Jude finds constant inspiration in the light, colours and clarity of the diverse Australian landscape.
