The House of Honey
Things To Do Herne Hill, Swan, Western Australia
The House of Honey is a honey farm in the heart of the Swan Valley. All of their honey is extracted with care on site and is unblended, unheated and pure with the nutrients and goodness intact. You can taste the difference!
Learn all about the fascinating world of bees as you chat with the beekeeper and see the live bee display. Challenge your taste buds by tasting all the different kinds of honey at the honey-tasting station. They also have a grand display of beeswax candles, honey vinegar, giftware, beauty products, royal jelly, bee pollen, honey sparkling water and a bookshop.
Alternatively, you can join them in the Meadery where you can taste a selection of Meads (honey wine) that won’t disappoint. You can match them with gorgeous Western Australian cheeses for a wonderful taste sensation.
Relax in the cafe or garden terrace with a pot of tea or coffee with a honey-based cake or Devonshire tea.
Only 30 minutes away from Perth’s central business district, The House of Honey guarantees your visit will be full of interesting things for the whole family to see.
