Thomsons Rottnest

Restaurant and Cafe

Tomsons Rottnest is located beachfront nestled in the iconic Thomsons Bay. Their aim is to surprise and delight their customers with a focus on local producers and suppliers. They offer family-friendly favourites, share-plates and seafood platters that you will want to enjoy with a specialty wine selected from their featured wine room.

Named after Robert Thomson who farmed salt from the island in 1841 and the bay that bears his name, Thomsons offers a fresh and exciting approach to Rottnest dining.

It is their aim to surprise and delight, offering their customers the food and service you wouldn’t normally expect while still remaining quintessentially Rottnest. Having a deep involvement and love for Rottnest for over 30 years has helped them design Thomsons to cater for all, from families, day-trippers, overseas visitors to the boating fraternity.

They are proud to be Western Australian and showcase all that is great about Western Australian produce and source local wherever possible. They have a seafood focus, however there are great food options for all, including those with specific food requirements.

Discover their stunning dishes before you dine. Their menus are always current and their dishes are the very essence of great Australian cuisine.
