At 888 metres, Mount Majura is the highest peak in suburban Canberra. Take the two hour Mount Majura Tour and learn about the habitat for a wide range of wildlife, including a number of threatened species and various opportunities for recreation.

At 856 metres, Mount Taylor is a prominent hill in Southern Canberra. Take the two hour Mount Taylor Tour and learn about the habitat for a wide range of flora and fauna, including a number of endangered species.

Join Dharwra Aboriginal Cultural Tours on a half day journey of Cultural Sites in Canberra and travel back in time to become a part of ‘The Dreaming’. Gain a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture with one of their experienced Aboriginal guides.

Experience examples of Aboriginal occupation in the Canberra region. These include bush food in Red Hill, grinding grooves in Theodore and both a canoe tree and a shield tree at Lanyon.

This half day tour is recommended for families with children 12 years and older.

Note: Participants will need to be able to get in and out of a troop carrier four wheel drive vehicle at the various locations.

Surrounded by the Brindabella Mountains, Flea Creek campground is an idyllic creek-side campsite in the valley. The nearby Goodradigbee River is great for fishing and bird/wildlife spotting.

Namadgi is a local Aboriginal name for the mountains situated to the southwest of Canberra bordering Kosciuszko National Park in New South Wales. Discover traditional aspects of the area on this full day Namadgi National Park 4WD Tour.

Aboriginal presence in the area has been dated to at least 21,000 years. Namadgi makes up approximately 46% of the ACT’s land area. There are numerous Aboriginal and European cultural sites in the park.

Highlights: Aboriginal interpretation of the landscape including ‘Yankee Hat’ rock art site; bush foods; wildlife.
