‘Serenita’ was purchased in 2017 as a run down ‘junk yard’ with the vision to get it to where it is today. ‘Serenita’ means serenity and that’s exactly what this place is. It is a hobby farm with dogs, cows, chickens and a rooster, koi fish, turtles and wild kangaroos, ducks, kookaburra’s and cockatoos. Each year we are lucky enough to have Kingfishers nesting on the property and nesting white cockatoos on the property behind the camp site. At times you may even have a visit from wild deer. The dam has lots of yabbies in it so if you bring a trap you may just have a feed the next day. Access to our property is via a private road where the public road ends so we are very secluded. With only 2 neighbours using the private road traffic past the campsite is virtually non existent.
