Natural Attractions
Moorehead Beach begins on the north side of the Bermagui break wall, popular for surfing, fishing and swimming.
The beach is often protected from strong southerly winds and the waves are generally less than one metre high, making it great for those learning to surf. The southern end of Moorehead Beach is a favourite spot for local surf schools.
The southern end of the beach is dog friendly with signposted areas for off-leash fun.
Fishing can be great around dusk, with mulloway, bream and flathead. The breakwater creates a great launching pad.
Keep your eye out for dolphins!
