Chamberlain Lookout

Natural Attractions

Chamberlain lookout is located five minutes out of Tathra, offering stunning views to Kianinny Bay, Bournda National Park and out to the mighty Pacific Ocean.

It is a wonderful spot for whale-watching in the spring, when thousands of humpback whales travel south along the Sapphire Coast on their way to Antarctica.

Kianinny Bay is a lovely spot for a picnic and swim, and offers access to northern Bournda National Park and the nine-kilometre Kangarutha walking track to Wallagoot.

You can also follow the 1.8-kilometre (one-way) walking track north to Tathra Headland, known as the Tathra Coastline walk.

Keep your eyes peeled for Kianinny Bay’s resident stingrays, some of Tathra’s best known locals.
