Potoroo Palace – Native Animal Sanctuary
Things To Do Yellow Pinch, Bega Valley, New South Wales
Potoroo Palace Native Animal Education Sanctuary is a not-for-profit public wildlife sanctuary on Djiringanj land just 10 minutes outside Merimbula New South Wales. They are passionate about conservation, education and community.
Please visit to see a koala, wander among the kangaroos, touch a snake, stroll through the cooling mist of the walk-through aviary and have lunch and great coffee at the Blue Wren Café.
You can get up close to their kangaroos, emus, ducks and native geese who roam the park freely and hand feed them with an Animal Feed Bag that is available at the entrance.
Potoroo Palace is about conservation, education and community. They acknowledge and have deep respect for the knowledge of the traditional custodians of this land, past, present and emerging.
They want to show people ways of living with native animals and valuing the trees, grasses and microorganisms living in the soil.
