Byrock Rock Holes

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

Visit the Byrock Water Holes. The water hole, which lies 500 metres to the west of the town just beyond the hotel, has a detailed explanation of its meaning to the Ngemba Aboriginal people.

The Village of Byrock was once a stopping point for Cobb & Co coaches which used the Byrock Rock Holes to water their horses.

Information regarding the mud map trail can be found via the VisitBourke website by visiting the Road Trips and 4WD page.
