Ganymede Truffles

Food and Wine Tours

It is a truth universally acknowledged that some eat to live whilst others live to eat. At Ganymede they subscribe to the latter. It is their love of food that led them to establishing their first trufferie back in 2009 after their rich musky aroma stole their family’s cold black hearts.

Come and join them and their ever-faithful hound, Zazu for a fun filled day full of all thing’s truffles, farming and dogs plus some delicious gourmet food and wines! Located in the Southern Tablelands, an easy 2 hours’ drive south of Sydney and 1.5 hours from Canberra.

The day begins with an introduction to the farm and the main star, Zazu. You then embark on their hunt where everyone will have a chance to ask questions, watch how they hunt the elusive black truffle and smell a freshly unearthed truffle.

Following the hunt, you will all retire to the old farmhouse ruins (from the 1800’s) for a 4-course set menu with optional matched wine featuring some of the best local wines and a truffle grading lesson.

Truffles are a premium product and at Ganymede, they want to ensure you have a premium experience.
