Jindera Pioneer Cairn

In Pioneer Park Jindera stands the Pioneer Cairn, a monument to the original settlers of the area and their journey to Jindera. When the areas original migrant came to Dight’s Forest (the original name of the Jindera area), they camped by the Four Mile Creek.

This spot has been commemorated by the placement of the Pioneer Cairn.

You can explore more of the history of the town with the Jindera Pioneer Museum, with a number of original buildings from Jindera’s past.
