Ben Hall’s Wall
Things To Do Breeza, Gunnedah, New South Wales
Historical Sites and Heritage Locations
This memorial celebrates the connection of Ben Hall to Breeza.
Ben’s family lived in the Breeza area and worked at Breeza Station. This fact is acknowledged by old Breeza residents who remember ‘Ben Hall’s Hut’, used for many years as a shepherd’s hut, but has long since gone.
The Wall commemorates the bushranger by way of a mural painted by well-known artist Bronwyn Bassett which depicts the last three years of Ben Hall’s life. The Wall is located in the village of Breeza, just off the Kamilaroi Highway. There is ample parking space available, with picnic tables, public toilets and children’s play equipment on site.
The Park also includes Breeza’s War Memorial WW1, WW2 and Vietnam Honour Rolls.
